Dating with Data is a research study run by academics at the University of Chicago studying dating behaviors. As part of our study, we have created a matchmaking portal where you can match with other people looking to date in your area.

Our matchmaking portal is similar to dating apps - except we will pay you for using it!

 

Here's how it works: 

Interested In Participating?

If you are:​

  • A college student aged 18-22

  • Single and looking to date

  • A man looking to match with women / a woman looking to match with men

You are eligible to participate in our study and try out our matching portal!

We would love to hear from you!

 

The matching portal will be open in February 2026.

If you join our email list, you will hear from us when we start recruitment. You will be able to learn more about the study and sign up then if you wish. You will also receive occasional updates about the study.
